After many cold and windy days {cold for Los Angeles that, is}, and mornings walks on wet sidewalks that tell the tale of rain that showered as we slept, we are spoiled today with a warm sunny day. Taking advantage of this beautiful day, I decided to see how my garden was coming along. I was surprised to see a beautiful hydrangea bloom well past the blooming season.
And a lone rose bloom out of season. Now I have proof that giving these bushes horrific winter buzz cuts is a bad idea.
And a lone, princess flower.
And a variety of camellias blooms, in season - always available to make a winter day brighter.
Isn't it wonderful the sheer joy sunshine, flowers {and a glass of wine} can bring?
Happy Friday.
